McLean County Anesthesiology is claiming that Dr. Mark Lanzerotte, a former shareholder, director and employee of the group, secretly negotiated a contract to provide anesthesiology services for the new center, Ireland Grove Center for Surgery.

The practice believes this negotiation and agreement is a violation of its non-compete clause, which states that for two years after leaving the practice, Lanzerotte could involve himself in any business which would compete with the anesthesiology group’s services, according to court documents cited by Pantagraph.com.
