HHS has launched the first online collection of the federal resources and capabilities to manage health impacts of emergencies.

Here are four key notes:

1. The HHS Response and Recovery Resources Compendium features 24 categories, and each category includes the relevant disaster resources available from HHS and partner agencies.

2. Categories include patient movement and hospital care, as well as decontamination.

3. The compendium has a number of resources such as emergency planning and disease surveillance and tracking.

4. The compendium will be updated regularly and expanded as federal agencies add products and services.
