Dr. Berman has a professional interest in gastroesophageal reflux disease, colonoscopy, constipation, hepatitis C, irritable bowel syndrome, pancreatitis and sigmoidoscopy. He has won numerous awards over the course of his career including the American Registry’s Patients’ Choice Award. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Digestive Diseases and Sciences.
Dr. Berman earned his osteopathic Medicine degree at Kirksville (Mo.) College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital Corporation in Highland Park, Mich., as well as his gastroenterology fellowship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia.
