Florida Suspends License of Dr. Jacinta Gillis

The Florida Department of Health has suspended the medical license of Dr. Jacinta Gillis, MD, for alleged medical malpractice, according to a News-Press report.

Dr. Gillis allegedly ran “pill mills” from her pain clinics in Lehigh Acres and Pinellas Park, Fla. She is accused of inappropriately prescribing controlled substances between June 2008 and Dec. 2009.
