The president wants Florida to expand Medicaid for its low-income people and the state rebuttled by noting a Supreme Court decision saying federal government could not coerce states into expanding their Medicaid programs, reported The Washington Times.

According to the report, Mr. Scott is opposed to expanding Medicaid because he does not trust the federal government to pay their portion, and he is appalled President Obama “would cut off federal healthcare dollars to Florida in an effort to force [the] state further into Obamacare.”
