FDA Approves Pain Treatment Ofirmev

The Food and Drug Administration has approved Ofirmev for the treatment of pain and fever in adults and children, according to a Pain Medicine News report.

Ofirmev, a Cadence Pharmaceuticals product, is the first form of intravenous acetaminophen in the U.S. Cadence Pharmaceuticals is expected to launch the product in the early part of this year, according to the news report.
