Dr. Robert Zehr Completes 500th Anterior Hip Replacement

Founder of Naples, Fla.-based Zehr Center for Orthopaedics Robert J. Zehr, MD, completed his 500th direct anterior approach to hip surgery, according to a WINK News report.

He has performed the technique for the past three years, which includes an incision only three to four inches long. Dr. Zehr was previously the head of orthopedic oncology for Cleveland Clinic, where he completed his residency.

He completed a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the University of Florida.
