Dr. Michael Yaszemski Wins Leadership Award at AAOS Annual Meeting 2013

Michael J. Yaszemski, MD, has received the William W. Tipton, Jr. MD Leadership Award at the 2013 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting in Chicago, according to an AAOS press release.

Dr. Yaszemski is a member of both the spine surgery and musculoskeletal oncology divisions at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He has served as the chair of the department of spine surgery for 10 years. He has also been chair of the AAOS Device Forum since 2006.
