CMS Won’t Post 6 Measures on Hospital Compare in July

Categorization issues have caused CMS to scrap plans of posting six quality measures on Hospital Compare in July, according to an AHA News Now report.

CMS wrote in a notice that it will not post the measure due to problems with categorizing hospitals’ rates as better, worse or no different than the national average, according to the report.
