Chemonics International touts 71% on-time delivery rate for global healthcare supply chain — 3 insights

Chemonics International announced its USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program — Procurement and Supply Management project successfully reached a 71 percent on-time delivery rate in October.

3. The project delivers commodities to 59 countries worldwide in an attempt to combat health emergencies. The project is also attempting to strengthen national health systems in 30-plus countries.

Chemonics Executive Vice President James Butcher said in a release, “We are pleased with the progress the project has made in reaching an on-time delivery rate of 71 percent in October. We recognize that we have to continue to build on and sustain this level of performance as we move forward. The people in the communities we serve worldwide deserve a 21st century global supply chain that provides the health commodities they need when they need them.”
