Inspire’s UAS system is the only FDA-approved implantable device for sleep apnea. The device is implanted in an outpatient procedure and uses mild stimulation to keep the airway open during sleep. Charles Zeller, DO, is the first physician with Broward Health to implant the device.

Last month, physicians at Franklin (Tenn.) Surgery Center began to offer treatment using Inspire’s device.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
