Richard Francis, Jr., is CEO of Symbion. Prior to the formation of Symbion, Mr. Francis served as president and CEO of UniPhy, an operator of multi-specialty clinics, independent practice associations and related outpatient services. Earlier in his career, he was the senior VP of development for HealthTrust, where he also served as a regional VP with responsibility for the operations of 11 hospitals in five states.
