Gregory George, MD, PhD is a founding principal of SurgCenter Development, which partners with local physicians to develop and manage ambulatory surgery centers. Under his leadership, SurgCenter Development has developed more than 105 physician-owned ASCs, all of which demonstrate nearly 100 percent physician, patient and staff satisfaction.
He is also a practicing ophthalmologist. He graduated from M.I.T., and received his medical degree and a PhD in ocular physiology from Duke University in Durham, N.C
