ASCA used its presence at the NCSL conference to educate state legislators about how ASCs can help reduce healthcare costs while ensuring the availability of high-quality surgical care.

ASCA members and staff members at the booth spoke about the ASC industry to lawmakers from across the United States and international delegates.

The reception, co-hosted by ASCA and the Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society, “fostered in-depth discussions on how ASCs can influence and help shape the ongoing healthcare reform debate,” according to the report.
