By meeting HHS criteria for meaningful use, eligible providers and institutions using AmkaiCharts can receive incentive payments through Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive programs under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, according to a company news release.
“Receiving meaningful use certification is an important step for our clients and prospects as it qualifies them for vital federal stimulus funding, and allows them to easily demonstrate compliance,” said Joe Macies, AmkaiSolutions president and CEO, in the release.
AmkaiCharts was tested and certified by ICSA Labs, ATCB-authorized to perform both complete EHR and EHR module testing and certification. ICSA Labs has provided vendor-neutral testing and certification for hundreds of products and solutions.
AmkaiCharts v. 3.0 has been certified for the following meaningful use criteria: 170.302 (o), 170.302 (p), 170.302 (q), 170.302 (r), 170.302 (s), 170.302(t), 170.302 (u), 170.302 (v), 170.302 (w), 170.302 (e), 170.302 (f), 170.302 (g).
