American Bar Association to Host Debate on Medicare and Medicaid Reform

The American Bar Association will host an Oxford-style debate at its annual meeting on reforming federal entitlements programs, including Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

The debate will take place Sat., Aug. 1, from 3-5 p.m. at the Chicago Hyatt Regency Hotel, East Tower, Gold Level, in Grand Ballroom B.

The “intergenerational” debate will feature two teams, one comprised of older lawyers and the other of younger lawyers, who will debate spending and reform issues related to the entitlement programs. Audience members will be allowed to question the debaters.
