These codes include:

1. 99050: This code pertains to times a physician provides care outside of regularly scheduled office hours or days when the office is typically closed. However, do not use this code when extending hours if a patient is running late. To verify you are correctly billing for this service, post office hours in the waiting area.

2. 99051: The code applies to services rendered in the office during regularly scheduled evenings, weekends or holiday office hours. Providers can bill for this code if they see a patient during regular office hours that fall outside of traditional office hours.

3. 99058: This code applies to services offered on an emergency basis in the office, which then disrupt previously scheduled office services. Note that not every walk-in applies for this code.

4. 99053: Physicians should use this code when rendering services between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. at a facility open 24 hours.
