Medline donating $1 million to racial equity groups

Medline is donating $250,000 to four organizations promoting “racial equity, social justice and access to education,” the medical supply manufacturer and distributor announced June 16.

Three details:

1. Medline selected Black Lives Matter, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, National Urban League, and United Negro College Fund as the recipients.

2. The company will also match employee donations made to any of the four organizations by the end of September, with a cap of $250,000.

4. Medline has short- and long-term inclusion and diversity efforts in the pipeline.
