Here are five fast facts.

1. Casetabs will use the funding to expand market awareness, increase product value through new EMR integrations and deepen patient engagement. It also seeks to expand its hospital market presence.

2. Nueterra Capital — the parent of NueHealth Holdings — led the funding round, along with Evolution Financial Group.

3. Casetabs launched its surgery coordination application in 2016 to help break down communication barriers between ASCs, physician offices, hospitals, anesthesiologist groups and medical vendors.

4. Casetabs has grown to 100 centers and 500 physician practices.

5. “Today, healthcare providers operate in silos, using a confounding variety of systems that don’t talk to each other, which ultimately leaves physicians and patients frustrated and burdened with unnecessary costs,” said Nueterra Capital CEO Jeremy Tasset.
“Casetabs has an opportunity to be the central hub.”
