ASC supply chain tip of the day: Spend less time managing supplies

 
Time is a limited resource, especially at surgery centers. Free up time for clinicians by combining the supplies you use most often into a procedure pack, streamlining operations and reducing supply costs, said Mandie Shipp, Cardinal Health’s senior consultant in clinical operations.

Here is a tip Ms. Shipp shared with Becker’s ASC Review:

“Create all-in-one procedure packs and clinicians won’t need to leave the operating room to get extra items from the storeroom. They can focus more on patients, instead of picking supplies.”
