Acclarent launches 3-D navigation system for ENT procedures — 4 insights

Johnson & Johnson's Acclarent launched its real-time, 3-D ENT navigation system TruDi.

Here's what you should know.

1. Physicians treated the first patients with TruDi at two U.S.-based healthcare facilities April 16.

2. The TruDi system is an electromagnetic image-guided system ENT Surgeons can use for endoscopic sinus surgeries and for both intranasal and paranasal image-guided navigation procedures.

3. The system also allows for the use of Relieva Spinplus Nav, the first 3-D navigation-enabled balloon sinuplasty system.

4. Acclarent developed TruDi with Biosense Webster's advanced imaging systems.
