Here’s what you should know.

1. The baseplate complements Zimmer Biomet’s Comprehensive Reverse Shoulder System. It offers patients with glenoid defects an alternative to bone grafting and eccentric reaming.

2. The baseplate comes in three augment heights: 3mm, 5mm and 7mm.

3. The plate’s circular design allows bone ingrowth, which enables optimal fixation.

4. Zimmer Biomet’s Global Extremities Business President and General Manager Orsa Britton said, “The new augmented baseplate rounds out Zimmer Biomet’s comprehensive shoulder portfolio and provides solutions that help surgeons with difficult glenoid deformity cases.”
