SI-Bone's iFuse Implant System will be fully covered in France: 3 things to know

France's national healthcare system added SI-Bone's iFuse Implant System to its list of refundable products and services.

Here are three things to know:

1. The implant received exclusive coverage in France following the favorable opinion of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Medical Devices and Health Technologies.

2. SI-Bone's iFuse Implant System for minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusion will be covered beginning Sept. 6, and will remain covered for up to five years.

3. The commission recommended patients seek out surgeons who are familiar with image-guided surgery and who have undergone iFuse procedure training.
