Surgical Center of Greensboro (N.C.) surgeons performed 250 total joints in the first year of the center’s total knee replacement bundle program.

1. The program was launched in 2017 and Steve Lucey, MD, discussed the program with Becker’s at that time.

2. Dr. Lucey and a group of surgeons decided to implement total joint bundles at the ASC after successfully implementing partial knee replacement bundles at a local hospital in 2017.

3. With 13 operating rooms and two procedure rooms, Surgical Center of Greensboro serves 16,000 patients annually.
