Surgery Partners ASC acquires surgical robot

Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Aspen Surgery Center invested in the da Vinci X Surgical System, according to Devan Telken, director of business development at Surgery Partners.

It is the first freestanding ASC in Northern California to purchase the system from Intuitive Surgical.

Aspen Surgery Center is one of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners’ 180-plus U.S. locations.
