Specialty Surgery Center of Connecticut launches state’s 1st outpatient TJR program

The Stamford-based Specialty Surgery Center of Connecticut is offering the state’s first comprehensive program for outpatient total hip, shoulder and knee replacement, Stamford Patch reported.

1. The center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

2. The center has six orthopedic surgeons on staff.

3. The Specialty Surgery Center of Connecticut is a multispecialty center, and offers surgery in gastroenterology, urology, plastic surgery and pain management.
