Here are three things to know:
1. The ASC at OIC opened in 2016 as the first center in Los Angeles designed exclusively to provide outpatient pediatric orthopedic surgery. Los Angeles-based RBB Architects designed the center.
2. The 13,000-square-foot center features two operating rooms and six presurgical and postsurgical suites. It was designed to reduce wait times for orthopedic surgery while improving patient care. Since the opening of the ASC, wait times have shrunk to the point that more than 50,000 patient wait days have been saved.
3. The ASC at OIC is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
