Atlanta-based OrthoAtlanta added sports medicine specialist Christopher Burket, MD, to its staff.
Here's what you should know.
1. Dr. Burket is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine with an additional interest in minimally invasive shoulder, knee, hip and elbow arthroscopy.
2. After earning his medical degree from University of Louisville (Ky.), he completed an internship at Cincinnati-based The Jewish Hospital, a residency at University of Louisville and a fellowship at New Orleans-based Ochsner Sports Medicine Institute.
3. Dr. Burket is an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons fellow and a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
