OrthoArkansas expanding after adding outpatient knee replacements

Dr. Eric Gordon of OrthoArkansas performed the first outpatient total knee replacement in Arkansas this past September amid a period of growth, according to Arkansas Business.

In January, OrthoArkansas merged with Arkansas Specialty Orthopaedics, and plans to add 10 to 15 physicians in the coming years. Currently, OrthoArkansas has 32 physicians on staff. The new physicians would help replace those who are retiring from the practice.

OrthoArkansas physicians are expected to perform 1,000 knee replacements this year.
