2. Orthopedic surgery volume growth created the need for a new space. In 2018, New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health surgeons performed 16,000 outpatient and 15,000 inpatient procedures. Northwell Health is Long Island Jewish Valley Stream’s healthcare network.
3. The orthopedic unit includes 18 single-occupancy rooms with accessible amenities and private bathrooms.
