The ASC was established in 2005, with physicians at the center performing between 1,300 to 1,400 cases a year, including hand, wrist, foot, ankle and knee surgery. Patients also receive advanced postoperative pain management treatments at the Litchfield Hills Surgery Center.
“Our facility’s fully-equipped operating and procedure rooms provide patients with the latest technology and equipment as well as excellent preoperative and postoperative care from our highly trained and skilled group of surgeons, nurses and support staff,” said Litchfield Hills Orthopedic Associates surgeon Lane Spero, MD, in a statement.
The Litchfield Hills Surgery Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and is Medicare certified.
