1. Dr. Junkin earned his medical degree from Philadelphia-based Temple University, where he also completed his residency. He completed his fellowship at Lexington-based University of Kentucky.

2. He earned a master of science in medical science degree from Philadelphia-based Drexel University.

3. Dr. Junkin is an American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine member.

4. He will practice with Nasser Ani, MD.
