California ASC expands with outpatient total joint procedures

San Rafael, Calif.-based Marin Specialty Surgery Center is moving to a larger location later this year to accommodate outpatient total joint procedures, according to the North Bay Business Journal.

Three key details:

1. The new location will have three operating rooms larger than the ones at the current location. It will have one procedure room.

2. In addition to total joint procedures, spine procedures will be performed at the new location.

3. Twenty physicians own the center; Surgical Care Affiliates is a partner.
