Virginia Eye Institute has added the LenSx Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery to its group.

The new technology will allow ophthalmologists to perform blade-free cataract removal with exacting, individualized specifications. The procedure is designed to reduce dependence on eyeglasses.

Virginia Eye Institute owns and operates an ambulatory surgery center that also includes otolaryngology procedures. Ophthalmologists perform cataract, glaucoma, retina, ocularplastics, pediatric and refractive surgery.
