Raleigh (N.C.) Ophthalmology has added optometrist Stefanie Fernandez, OD, to its Raleigh and North Raleigh locations. She begins seeing patients Oct. 12, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.
Dr. Fernandez provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, with experience in primary eye care, medical optometry and ocular disease diagnosis and management.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association.
“Dr. Fernandez’s clinical expertise, compassionate approach and dedication to patient education make her an excellent addition to our team,” said Shelley Averette, practice administrator at Raleigh Ophthalmology.
“My goal is to ensure patients feel heard, informed and actively involved in their care,” Dr. Fernandez said.
Raleigh Ophthalmology has served the Raleigh area for more than 50 years and offers subspecialty care in cataracts, cornea, pediatrics, glaucoma, oculoplastics and comprehensive eye care.
