Prevent Blindness America Elects National Board of Directors Members

Prevent Blindness America has announced it has elected four new members to its national board of directors, according to a news release.

The four new members are as follows:

  • Patricia L. Davis, MD, owner and CEO of Progressive Eye Care in Lisle, Ill.
  • Brad McCorkle, founder of Local Eye Site, an online eyecare employment community.
  • Richard P. Mills, MD, president of Glaucoma Consultants Northwest in Seattle
  • James Shyer, COO of Zyloware Eyewear, based in Port Chester, N.Y.

 

“As 2012 comes to a close, we are excited to continue our work led by our esteemed board of directors,” said Hugh Parry, president and CEO of Prevent Blindness America, in the release. “By Dr. Patty Davis, Brad McCorkle, Dr. Richard Mills and James Shyer joining us, we look forward to their guidance and valuable expertise to help us continue our sight-saving work.”
