Ms. McCune, vice president of Corcoran Consulting Group, also told attendees the 70 percent RVU reduction for endothelial cell counts is actually 23 percent, according to a report by Healio.com.

She also said a code has been established to bill for the Glaukos iStent used during cataract surgery, which was FDA-approved in June, and she reminded providers to bill the iStent as the primary service and the cataract procedure as secondary.
