Ophthalmologist on the Move: Dr. Sahar Kohanim Joins Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

Ophthalmologist Sahar Kohanim, MD, has joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, according to a news release.

Dr. Kohanim will serve in BIDMC’s division of ophthalmology’s Roberta and Stephen R. Weiner Department of Surgery as director of cornea and refractive surgery and director of inpatient consultation services.

 

She specializes in providing care for patients with corneal disease and cataracts, and those requiring refractive surgery.

 

Dr. Kohanim received her MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. She then completed a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston.
