Dr. Trichopoulos, a dedicated retinal surgeon and ocular oncologist, treats retinal detachments, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and cancers of the eye.
His full-time practice will be at the Marshfield Clinic Wausau Center. Dr. Trichopoulos will also provide outreach services two days each month at the Marshfield Clinic Minocqua (Wis.) Center.
Dr. Trichopoulos received his MD from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati and completed a medical-surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Eye Institute. He also completed fellowships in ocular oncology at both the University of Cincinnati and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital in England.
