Ophthalmologist on the Move: Dr. Karl Waite Joins Hawaii Cataract and Laser Institute in Kahului

Ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon Karl E. Waite, MD, is now providing full-time services at Hawaii Cataract and Laser Institute in Kahului, according to a Maui Now report.

Dr. Waite specializes in diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachments.

 

He received his MD from University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, according to his bio. Dr. Waite began his surgical career with Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami, and continued his ophthalmology training with Nassau University Medical Center. He completed his ophthalmology training at Stony Brook University in New York.
