Ophthalmologist on the Move: Dr. Ira Younger Joins IN’s Dearborn County Hospital

Ophthalmologist Ira Younger, MD, has joined the network of hospital-owned physician practices of Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Ind., according to a news release.

Dr. Younger has offices in both Lawrenceburg and Batesville, Ind. He performs procedures in these offices as well as at Dearborn County and Margaret Mary Community Hospitals.

 

Procedures include no stitch cataract surgery, laser scanning and laser treatment for glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.

 

Dr. Younger earned his MD from University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He then completed an internship program at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, a residency in ophthalmology at University of California at Irvine and a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
