Dr. Abdelsalam completed his internal medicine training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and residency in ophthalmology at the Insitute of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences of New Jersey Medical School. He then completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University in Michigan.
