Ophthalmologist Dr. William Lewallen Dead at 87

Ophthalmologist and eye surgeon William “Bill” Lewallen, MD, has died, according to Pueblo Chieftain obituary.

Dr. Lewallen died Aug. 26 in Littleton, Colo. He was 87.

 

Dr. Lewallen received his MD from Southwestern Medical College of the University of Texas. In 1955, he moved to Pueblo, Colo., where he opened an ophthalmology practice. He ran the practice until he retired in 1992.
