Ophthalmologist Dr. Tammy Movsas Named Medical Director for MI’s Midland County

Ophthalmologist Tammy Movsas, MD, has been hired to serve as the medical director for Midland (Mich.) County, according to a Midland Daily News report.

Dr. Movsas began the position July 23. She will work 16 hours a week in her new role, with eight hours on site.

 

Dr. Movsas is presently an adjunct professor at Michigan State University. She previously spent almost two years in the neuro-ophthalmology at Detroit’s Henry Ford Hospital department of ophthalmology. She received her MD from the Washington University School of Medicine.
