Ophthalmologist Dr. Jim Brown Receives AAO’s Secretariat Award

Ophthalmologist Jim Brown, MD, has received the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Secretariat Award, according to a Dispatch report.

According to AAO, the Secretariat Award “recognizes ophthalmologists for special contributions to the Academy and ophthalmology.”

 

Dr. Brown serves as chief of staff at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, Miss. He has been an officer of the Mississippi Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.

 

He practices out of Eye Center of Starkville, according to his bio.
