Tioga Diabetic, which was founded by Chelsie Firmin, OD, will be housed in a five-story, 18,639-square-foot facility. It will offer fully automated ophthalmic goods manufacturing, community health centers and clinics as well as an outpatient facility.
The facility will create 34 livable wage jobs for local residents, individuals with low to moderate income, and women who were formerly incarcerated.
It was made possible by a $3.8 million investment from TTP Capital Holdings, a development firm.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
