Geisinger Health System Expands Shamokin Campus

The Geisinger Specialty Care-Shamokin, Pa. building is working on a 4,000-square-foot expansion that will house an increased staff that will include a glaucoma specialist, a retina specialist, an ophthalmological photographer, two registered nurses, a receptionist and a technician, according to a Newsitem report.

Geisinger Health System, based in Danville, Pa., announced that the $1.2 million expansion project is expected to be completed in June.
