Dr. Rajendra Apte to Receive Macula Society’s 2013 Young Investigator Award

Rajendra S. Apte, MD, PhD, will receive the 2013 Young Investigator Award from the Macula Society, according to a news release.

Dr. Apte is associate professor of ophthalmology and visual science and of developmental biology at Washington University in St. Louis.

 

He will receive the award at the 36th Annual Macula Society Meeting in February.

 

Dr. Apte received his MD from University of Bombay, India, and then studied immunology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he earned his PhD.
