3 Statistics on Cataract Surgery Procedure Times in ASCs

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care has gathered information from 92 facilities performing a combined annual 170,000 cataract surgeries and released statistics on the procedure times.

The statistics report:
•    Median pre-procedure time was 81 minutes
•    Median procedure time was 14 minutes
•    Median discharge time was 21 minutes
