The 10th anniversary of The Surgery Center Coalition's conference will be held on September 10 in Somerset, N.J.
The conference brings together representatives from the New Jersey Department of Health, CMS, OSHA, AAAHC and The Joint Commission to speak about surveys and inspections for the first time under the same roof. Additional experts will cover pharmacy, infection control and legal updates.
"The SCC has been meeting for 10 years, sharing important and timely information and education to its members and attendees," said Marcy Sasso, SCC co-chair and director of compliance and development at Facility Development & Management. "We have been ASCs supporting ASCs. To celebrate our 10th anniversary we decided to make it an epic event, never before held anywhere in the country. We are proud and excited to have brought together these five regulatory agencies to discuss a topic that is so important to the ASC industry."
Attendees for the conference are invited to submit questions for the roundtable discussions. The event includes 15 ASC vendor sponsors.
